This is the ORA Funky Cat!

It’s an all-new electric car from China, and Mat’s about to find out if it has what it takes to rival established brands such as MINI & VW in the small electric car category!

Upon first glance, you may be forgiven for thinking the car looks recognisable. For example, look at it from the rear and it looks similar to a Fiat 500, while from the front it looks pretty similar to the MINI Electric! Clearly the designers must have been influenced by the cars they’re going up against, but that’s not exactly a bad thing!

The inside is pretty well laid out as well. There are good quality materials across the dash and on the doors, and there are two decently sized screens to house the infotainment system and digital dials. They may not be the most intuitive systems, but they work well enough for the size of car.

One key selling point is the tech that comes inclusive! There’s only one trim level available for this car, so that means that things such as electronically controlled seats and 360 parking cameras come as standard.

The car is powered by a 48kWh battery pack along with a single electric motor. This can produce 171hp while it’s good for a claimed range of 193 miles. That’s well up on a MINI Electric, but a fair bit lower than the likes of a VW ID.3.

The ORA Funky Cat costs from £32,000. But does it offer enough to tempt you away from the more established competition? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself!

You also have to remember that this car also has a crazy high Euro NCAP rating.
Its the 11th overall safest vehicle they've tested with only offerings from Tesla, Mercedes, Smart, Lexus and Wey scoring any higher.
I'd say that's an arguably more impressive achievement from such a new manufacturer.

Actually, the designer of the ora funky cat came from Porsche. I dont think that anyone else could make the car look so cute and adorable!

Not a huge fan of the exterior, but the interior is great! Love the two-tone look!

The rear seat room is better than on some midsized sedans. Good perceived quality and designs make this a great unique little thing.

I think it looks great both inside and out. They did imitation right, they took from the best. And having all those iconic design features in it means every time the owner walks up to it from a different angle there will be something else to admire about it. Whatever else may happen you'll never get bored of it's design.
