I have watched College Football for over 35 years. I have an identical twin brother who has lived in complete frustration by being a Clemson fan his whole life except now. This has been a complete dream come true. I have never seen 2 Dynasties at the same time. I don't need to mention Alabama's run. What Clemson has done is a Miami/USC type run right now. Without playing each other Clemson would have 3-4 titles in a row.
The way it's set up this is not suppose to happen. Both were incredible last year. I believe both will be better than the 18 teams which is even crazy to think about. I met Clemson fans outside my bro at the title game in Glensdale in the 1st meeting. What a great respectful fan base. This is crazy to think who will start the season at number 1. You can't go by the title game. I believe the score was worse than the game. Alabama dominated the first quarter outside the scoreboard. They ran a lot more plays. The depth on Clemson playing their whole roster was special last year. I do believe those 2018 teams were really special. The reason I feel this season they could be better is several reasons.
Last year 3 D lineman for Clemson stayed. I don't think Clemson will take a hit on the line. The guys that would have started last year had another season in the weight room.For Alabama they had a rebuilt secondary. We have Trevor and Tua again. Both teams are absolutely loaded on Offense. I don't know how either could be held to under 30 pts a game. I'm confident that Saban and Venerables will have elite Defenses. This feels like 2016 when it was men on boys. I think they will play for the title in New Orleans for the 5th year. In my Opinion Alabama should take it this year. With Tua gone and the way the 2 teams are recruiting I would think Clemson would win with Trevor as a junior. We might be looking at a best out of 7. I feel college football is one year from even competing at their level. Then you have to out coach the best 2 coaches in the country, You might hate it but this Alabama vs Clemson Dynasty collision will go down as the greatest ever in all sports. Even 80's Celtics vs Lakers could be in trouble. Think about it everyone??? 55-4??? 2 Titles each??? Top coaches??? Elite recruiting and both have an amazing debate who should be number 1 to start the year.

Hey Bama fans that are ripping Clemson's schedule. Bama is playing a soft cup cake schedule this year also, especially non-conference. Bama probably only has 3 challenging games to get to the playoff and that includes the SEC Championship. Both Bama and Clemson should schedule Ohio State every season for home and homes instead of a weak non-conference opponent.
