What I learned most from this video was something unrelated to Caleb. I learned that Rome is out there already cooking DBs in his 4th game. He's gonna be special once CW figures it out

Tim, the Bears covered. Hope the kids' college fund got a nice boost this Sunday.

The Rams secondary held all game long! That hold on Odunze wasn't even the worst one.

21m, I think it was because Rome didn't turn his head to look back, the pocket collapsed and Caleb had to get rid of it before Rome looked back. Throwing it deep and hitting Rome in the Head or getting a first down... have to go with the first down, the WR group needs to have a faster clock on looking back.

gotta think the deeper route he went off of was because he was again expecting to get hit from his left as 70 or whoever was missing that block all day.

Caleb don't trust his LT #70.. and I understand why..

Two things are happening causing Caleb to not hit the open men further down field. First, he is becoming mentally risk adverse by the NFL know it alls telling him "take what they give you", i.e. the 5–10-yard checkdowns. If this is USC, he wouldn't think twice about it and he would have thrown to the open players down field for TDs. Eberflus is afraid of letting him play and holding him back. Lincoln Riley encouraged him to make those throws. Second, his OL is garbage especially his left tackle and Verse was on him every play. Thus, he didn't want to take the extra split second to throw to the open men.

You saying you don't know why he checked it down so quickly while simultaneously showing the line breaking down and the Right End about to hit him is crazy

Caleb was standing in the pocket. The kid has no fear. Every single game getting better. Can't believe there are actually people saying Daniels is better. The dude can't throw anywhere but the right side. Caleb is the real deal

The check downs your complaining about instead of going for the big play are literally a huge improvement this week. Game winning plays. If he goes for those big plays and doesn't make them or makes a mistake we dont win this game. He's already improving a ton chill out

The Rams had multiple defensive holding calls against them. I think the refs just got tired of throwing the flag.

23m, the HB running into Caleb delayed the throw and the db has already recovered and driving back at Rome.

Love the breakdowns! You should have over 100k subs you are that good. Much love to you yah!🐻🧡💙

#8 was already on him on that "missed" deep shot to Rome. If he waits any longer to let that develop, he's eating dirt.

We all love deep shots, but I'm hard pressed to fault someone getting 1st downs vs eating a sack.

Next year the Bears MUST draft a left tackle HIGH. If there is one available with there pick, get him. Braxton Jones is not working out. Every play on this video he got beat. BAD!!! I would be shocked if he makes it the whole season without being benched

13:10 I listed to you harp on Caleb and that screen repeatedly, he didn't get hit because he didn't retreat (besides retreat is away from target, you have him retreating sort of toward the target) but either way he was going to get leveled either way because Braxton Jones got beat by Verse. If Braxton holds that block for any time at all Caleb doesn't get hit.

we coulda had some HUGE plays (XZ READ comes to mind), but at least he didn't turn the ball over 3 times like Jordan Love lmao

Finally put Swift's feet to the fire & he delivered in the passing game as well. Maybe he felt the heat from Roshon. Together maybe Chicago wont have the worst rushing attack.🤔

Appreciate the insight Tim, definitely helps those of us who only watch on game day (or not as the case was yesterday due to traveling home from vacation).

I'll always take a win but particularly nice to see the QB mostly mistake free and certainly protecting the football!

All I know is that Tory Taylor is the best bears player if they gave MVP’s for punters he should get it.
