You have a very clear way of teaching whatever your subject is so I always learn something with each video. Thanks!

Clearly the best explanation I've heard of the use of the word "ojalá." Thank you!

I love that you traced this word back to it's Arabic roots. People often forget that Spain much of it was once ruled by moslems. Thanks for this video. You got a like and at least two watches because I am watching this one at least twice.

When I first came to live on Mallorca, I went to the shop next door and asked Enrique ¿tienes huevos? It caused a gr e at deal of amusement at my expense, and I soon learned to say ¿hay huevos? instead...😂

The key to learning and improving your Spanish is to understand it is an ongoing process and not become discouraged. Also approach it as something enjoyable instead of a task.

Paul, my college spanish book from 1984 has a sidebar about ojala. It says the it is derived from an Arabic phrase meaning " May Allah grant that". Thought you and your subs might find this quite interesting.
PS I really like your videos I am intermediate and been hitting the wall for a long time. You are helping me get over that wall.😅

I see what you did there. You slid in the imperfect subjunctive into the lesson as smooth as butter. Brilliant.

I am finally making much improved headway with the subjunctive tense like I never thought possible. I am very grateful.
