Meet the Warrior Monk: Gurkha hero who became elite Special Forces soldier

Krishna Thapa was brought up as a Buddhist monk in the hills of the Himalayan mountains before fulfilling his family’s dream by becoming a Gurkha.
But his incredible journey within the British military had only just begun.
Krish then joined UK Special Forces – and spent another 17 years serving in combat operations around the globe.
As an accomplished mountain leader, he was also the first serving soldier to summit both Everest and K2 and he now dedicates his life to helping veterans complete their own challenges.
He’s known as the Warrior Monk – and this is his story.
