The more I read about JWST, the more awed and inspired I become. The scientists and engineers have done the near impossible to bring this telescope into reality. This is bleeding edge technology folks. The people that have brought it forth are geniuses. Don’t believe me? Go read up on how it was made and what it will be able to see. We are living in exciting times!

I showed my wife the launch live. I cried. She didn’t quite understand except that it was emotional for me. She showed proper respect and we had a good hug. Don’t think I can sustain that until full deployment at L2 :-)

A real human endeavor. The number of points of failure was scary to even think about. I won't relax until it's fully operational. Gratz to everybody involved.

Since the last of the 50 deployments have been completed can we assume that any additional cheers and applause that we hear from the NASA team are intended just for me for being so special and charming.

Our way forward has always been science.

More shocking than fully opened JWST is that it has been two weeks already in space. I feel like it was 3 days ago...

I am very happy that JWST has been on the road for 14 days and O.K. has the main 50 attributes. and in 6 months the remaining 50 applications will be O.K. for full use in space research, Super!

This is wonderful engineering. Everything working fine in deep space temperature. Awesome! It seems it was worth to wait for so long. Now we'll wait for first images after some 6 months.

"expected about 6 months after its launch" reading that gave me chills. A countdown is under way
