Greetings to the best professor that ever lived! I just want to congratulate you on your 100K subscribers. I also wanted to ask you something: I am someone who adores math and physics, and I don't just see them as something academic, physics is my life. In high school, I perform averagely in physics (about 75/100), while at home, I am reading, solving, learning, and most important, thinking about physics at a university level. My teacher says that it is because of my work habits. In class, I find everything too simple, and when I study for the exams... It is also too simple. E.g: Yesterday, I wanted to see how much I knew about the lesson before studying. I wrote everything I knew on my notebook... but I noticed that I wrote the entire lesson! I did the quiz today and got a 60%. What can be the reason I am getting average grades when I find it easy and I am doing more advanced topics? What can I do to increase my grades?

BTW: This was an amazing problem! Keep up the good work!

Hello mr Walter Lewin can you please tell me why an amplifier can reject certain frequency by performing convulution by stacking and scaling how does it happen is it due to inductor or capacitor inside op amplifier

However, you are assuming here, that the radius of the rod is negligible, right? Otherwise the moment of inertia would contain antoher term which would look like (Mr^2)/4 because the rod is in fact a cylinder rotating around its end. It's perfectly alright to do so because the radius is almost nothing compared to the lenght of the rod - it is negligible.
