Why Going to Church Is Not Enough to Make Disciples

⚠️ No Scripture says someone else's else's faith can save us. We all need our own faith and intimate relationship with God. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. From youth, a child should learn the ways of the Lord by their family's example.
🚨 The OT law required Israel to train their children in the ways of God or else they would be cursed.
🙏🏾 Hannah prayed for a son and [dedicated] him to the Lord. Baby dedication is a sign to your Christian community to raise your child for the Lord.
💧Baptism is a confession of faith and an expression of a new life in Christ. Babies cannot do this. We are all born into sin and must respond to the gospel by faith to be born again.
📖 Romans 10:9-11, “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
