I first thought SCP was just a collection of horror monsters...
Then I read 458, which made me realize that SCP isn't a collection of monsters; it's a collection of anomalies. Things that are out of the norm when it comes to reality.
A collection of oddities.
Now that I've been aware of the SCP fandom and the community for a few years, the more I look at it, the more I just look at it as a collection of writings from people that want to either put their foot into the realm of writing and storytelling; many are amazing, some less so. Or just want to write something that'd fit pretty well in the SCP universe. To call it a collection of collaborative writing isn't wrong, but to call it focused on horror isn't very correct.

Game concept:
You have to run a SCP site as a sim manager. Resource management, financials, staff, research projects, ect.

You run a site with the main objective being to always maintain containment. As if you were in that universe.

I agree with the fact that there are too many horror type SCP games. When will the scp fighting game, role playing game, FPS of GOI fighting one another that maybe even use some anomalies. There is infinite potential, hell someone could even make an eroge.

Here Be Dragons is one of the most sad files/tales I've heard. I try to skip the genre definition when I'm speaking about the SCP Universe. I tend to agree with you on this one Doc.
