Hospital and TN medical college, Mumbai and completed his post-graduation in Radiology from St. Stephens’ hospital, Delhi. With a keen interest in Interventional Radiology from his PG days, he refined his skillset by a 2-year fellowship program in Hepatobiliary and Oncology IR in the prestigious Sir Ganga Ram hospital followed by expanding his spectrum of IR procedures in Jaypee Hospital, Noida catering to patients from 19 different countries as a center of excellence in IR.

Dr. Gaurav Gangwani has been a pioneer to perform few interventions in India which a couple IRs perform including procedures like thyroid nodule and parathyroid adenoma ablations, vasculomimetic stenting for juxta-anastomotic stenosis in AV fistulas and endovascular therpay for veno-occlusive erectile dysfunction.

My mother near 70 old and got diabetec foot since some days back. She was DM since two decades. Got debridement two weeks back on left foot but second toe got dry gangrene and also affected 3rd toe some extent. Consulted with Dr. Das and and also with Dr. Vaidya dadar as the toes cannot be saved. Hence done the amputations of 2nd and 3rd toe till some upper portion on yesterday in navi mumbai hospital.
They also adviced for peripheral angioplasty of legs if required to do. As an when she got discharge from hospital, will meet you if any requirement of angiography. Thanks for your valuable content which brings to understand easily and upto the point clarified. Thanks

My mother recently had a gangrene surgery for her left leg 2nd toe finger and the infection has been spreading to 3 rd and 4th finger as well. So general surgeon suggested to remove those two fingers as well. This happened due to blood blockages in the foot. Doctor also said that it might spred to whole foot. Is there any solution for clearing blood blockages in the foot. Please suggest some treatment. My mother is in hospital now

My mother is a type 2 diabetic patient . She had an amputation of toe as it was suffering from gangrene. But i want ask that is there is any chance to cause gamgene again in her foot because radiologist had said that unki nerves me blood thick h.? Can u please help. 🙏

Sir doctor said to see vascular surgeon for surgery as my fathers feet are not well should Ingo for surgery for new vain implantation? He had bypassed in 2019 since then his feet become sore and have ulcer in winters

Doctor my father has gangrene in index finger it has not spread very much till now but m afraid it will we have tried ayurveda but nothing works n we r afraid to visit surgeon as I know they will recommend amputation.
