Oasis do/have/& I assume always will, make me feel things nobody & no thing makes me feel. To some, they're simple lads from near Manchester. To me, they're the soundtrack of my life, I support them like a football team & they are 'my' band.
Since the announcement of the reunion, I've seen lots of jokes & mock videos of people singing Oasis songs, mimicking Liam -  I unashamedly do that stuff on a daily basis & have done for the last 20 odd years! My kids know, word for word, pretty much every Oasis song.
Rational logic says Liam is essentially playing Oasis gigs anyway, he just doesn't have Noel playing guitar next to him. But to see them back together goes above & beyond rational logic, it just means a lot & it would be monumental. God bless those boys from Burnage ❤

I was a teenager of the 90's, absolutely bang into Oasis. Really fired up the old adolescent testosterone. Drifted off from them early 2000's and got into other things. I didn't really realise that they've been gone so long that young people now are bang in to them to. It's been amusing seeing them being popular again and people my age getting feisty and fighting over tickets with 20 year olds. Also slightly upsetting that I'm telling 20 year olds at work I saw them in the 90's and feeling like a tired old man. I guess it's like when I was into the Beatles and the Stones at that age and my elders were their with them in the 60s. I thought 40 was so old then. Ancient. Practically dead. Anyway, the moral of the story is enjoy being young, but you'll be old before you know it so don't get too cocky. You'll be telling kids in 20 years that you were into toxic culture-wars on twitter, endless streams of mentally-damaging porn and violence on your phones, shanking your peers, brain-dead youtubers flogging you Huel, worthless bitcoin and online pandemic seminars when it was first cool.
