this is the worst example i've seen. I am more confused than before

This video could be greately improved by using actual memory addresses to show how blocks of memory would be put in the cache, rather than color coding everything.

Shouldn't m=6 in the example?
The tag field is 3 bits wide, index field is 2 bits wide and the offset field is 1 bit wide.

I could not figure this out and felt pretty stupid. The numbers just were not adding up.
Pretty sure I was getting my units confused. This video is better and makes the differentiation between
bytes, bits, and indicies a bit more apparent.

My university lecturer gave us this video instead of explaining the concept himself.
They both don't know how to teach.
Confusing video and lazy lecturer.
