Tip #3 is my single most important suggestion for new players. Some gods are just HARD to pick up early on. You can always play what you want to afterwards so dont worry!

New to MOBAs and to Smite. Recently picked to coach my eSports program at the school I work at, and Smite is one we are considering adding when we upgrade hardware. Right now it's League of Legends and Rocket League. Your guide was very informative. I actually prefer the 3rd-person perspective of Smite to LoL but I'm finding the leveling to be much slower than LoL (In about the same amount of time I've leveled to 6 in LoL and 4 in Smite - told you I was new :D ) Anyway, as Level 15 is needed to open up several of the modes, it may be awhile :D

i've avoided smite out of spite lol of all things because i was a global agenda player and i blamed smite for GAs demise. welp, i recently decided to give mobas in general a fair shake and that path has led me smite. it looks good, i think i'll like it. thanks for answering a few questions i had, and even a few i didn't know i had.
