Rest in Peace Gordon Lightfoot. We were trying to remember who sang this song in the early 70s. I've been listening to different covers, but as soon as I heard this version, my memory went back to my childhood home in Oregon.

I have listened to MANY "voices" of this GREAT song! Gordon Lightfoot wrote it, performed it (AWESOMELY!) Elvis also! However, George Hamilton IV performed this with FANTASTIC WARMTH that is UNEQUALED!
