Yes, the millionaire entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk has not read many books, not even his own books (they were ghost-written). Don't take it as a brag. Don't take it as a good thing. He's an exception to the rule. It's hope that you can get rich if you truly hate reading or listening to audiobooks.

But don't lean on it. Trust the billionaire Charlie Munger's advice instead:
“In my whole life, I have known no wise people (over a broad subject matter area) who didn't read all the time -- none, zero. You'd be amazed at how much Warren reads--and at how much I read. My children laugh at me. They think I'm a book with a couple of legs sticking out.”

I've always been a terrible reader and haven't read much. Crush It! is the first book I've read since I can remember. I feel as if I'll get a few more business books in and I'll stop reading. It's just not my style, so I totally relate to Gary.

You should get Audible. I went from reading 4 books a year to listening to 25 books last year.

Definitely a let down Stephen King said in his book "On Writing" - that it's a shame that people think they can write books that don't read books.

creative thinkers, doers, innovator don't read other people's books period. Most of them deal with dyslexia, add, adhd, they are unique they are talented, they run the world because they are not like you and I. Period
