You realize your in a massive and ever growing urban heat island right? The more you pave over and urbanize the region the hotter it is going to get

10 million more Californians move here and the temperatures will increase even more. Every AC unit, every car, every new house generating heat and soaking up sunlight keeping the night warmer. Drying up all of our aquifers, burning down our forests

Gravel, glass, and concrete don't dissipate heat like natural materials for. Man made heat islands are a huge factor to warming

It’s pointless to plant trees when nobody waters them in the summer. All the fresh trees I’ve seen planted rarely survive now because of summer drought stress and little to no care.

Wow. It gets warm in the summer! Who’d a thunk it.🙄

To put it in a nutshell more people = less trees and more man-made building materials and vehicles = more heat

Hey everyone I actually study atmospheric physics but just on my own terms. Let me explain to you the effects of increasing CO2 levels of the global atmosphere. CO2 levels are higher now than in the past 3 million years. CO2 is highly reactive to the long wavelength of thermal infrared heat that is generated at the surface of the Earth. Normally thermal infrared heat wants to rise up to the atmospheric column and pass into space. Because CO2 is present in our atmosphere it naturally reacts to the long wavelength of CO2 gas. The gas molecules in CO2 vibrate at the frequency of thermal IR energy. A lot of that energy is re radiated back down towards Earth. Some of the energy is allowed to pass into space. But what's occurring is more CO2 is filling up the atmosphere and is re-radiating the energy back into the atmosphere and down to the surface of the Earth. CO2 also prevents The Escape of thermal Heat I don't know what the radiation loss per hour is but it was demonstrated in the 1860s by an amateur Scientist by the name of Eunice foot with an e on the end. I have a video of her on my YouTube channel and she discovered this purely by accident

People who complain about the cold and rain 9 months of the year, are complaining about the heat we get a few weeks of the year. Ok.
