I just sold my 1991 Trek 2100 Pro with the original Shimano 105 groupset. It had the downtube shifters, the rear could be set to friction or index (I ran it indexed). It made a full circle, after 90+k miles and 32 years later, it went back to the same bike shop it came from. One of the owners bought it from me.

I own a steel bike and bike trainer just like yours (except for the SIS down tube shifters), but I never have the courage to use the clip-less pedals on the trainer. 😂

How do you not lose balance when shifting. I hace a peugeot bike and i hace to hunch over a lot to reach the gears. Then i almost lose balance
