i remember this from the demo cd pop has that has a sample of the first game featuring blackwater city and metropolis

The thing about Ratchet and Clank worldbuilding:

Most games tell you that there is a war and then you spend several hours hunting down the villain. This game actually showed you the war, it put into scale how powerful the Thyrranoids are if they are able to pose a serious threat to a massive metropolis like Blackeater City.

Would be cool if it was a reverse metropolis/ thyrranosis where the arena is the main story part and standard exploration is the side quest
