Magic doesn't get enough credit. In my eyes he could be in the conversation for the goat of basketball. Hear me out, the conversation of the goat is usually MJ, Kobe, and Lebron but all of those players are missing something very important that Magic had. Magic was supposed to be a pg and would have gotten a ton of points, but the team needed him at center so he became a team player and did what was best for the team. Magic didn't only want to be the best player he could be but he wanted everyone else on the team to be the best they could be. That is why magic doesn't have as many points as the others and instead had a ton of assists and was an amazing passer giving him the name "Magic". No disrespect to the other 3 but they were usually known for being a little selfish when it came to who got the ball.

When I was growing up in the 90's more people had Magic over Kareem. Jordan took the torch from Magic. These were the top 3 players with Bill, Wilt, and Bird for the overwhelming majority.
