As I’m filming this, the markets are closed. But I want to talk about what’s been happening lately.

“Barron’s” recently put out an article that says day trading has replaced sports betting as America’s pastime. That’s INSANE. But it also makes sense — the market’s so hot.

With volatility at an all-time high, the traders who studied the past are the ones nailing trades. I mention some of my students here who are clearly prepared. Props to all of you!

I’ll link that “Barron’s” article above, and I’ll link to an article about weed stocks from a few years ago. The “Men’s Journal” pot stocks article is one of the most important articles ever written on penny stocks. It’s in your best interest to take the time to read it.

What happened with pot stocks back when it was written a few years ago is similar to what’s happening today. The similarity in the mania is uncanny. And it shows you that a hot market isn’t unique or new.

Its important to be cynical in trading. Thank you for your advice on this. I like to think there are good and ethical business out there, but this is a great way to ground myself and not take anything personal.
