2021 Kia Seltos S Review...WATCH BEFORE BUYING

The 2021 Kia Seltos is based on the same platform as the Hyundai Kona. The key differences are, the Seltos rides a bit higher, which means it's a bit more comfortable but the Kona handles slightly better because of this. Obviously exterior and interior design changes but as a whole, the two cars are very similar and equally rewarding to own.

Thanks for reviewing the S model. Almost every other Seltos video is SX/fully loaded which doesn't interest me. More features/options = more to go wrong and more $ to fix.

I bought this exact model and color with awd. I love it! I've had it for 4 months now
I think it's an exceptional value for what you get. Only thing I wish it had was the blind spot monitoring system but all the other safety systems work really well my favorite feature is the lane centering. It makes it less tiring on the hwy during longer trip. I get much better than advertised MPG just as long as you use the smart mode. It's an overall great commuter car for under $24, 000

Well, I’m 19 I had a 2012 Nissan Juke unfortunately the engine went out and is not worth fixing. I am getting the Kia seltos LX on Friday and I can’t wait!

Great review! I am a senior citizen and test drove one the other weekend and for the price it's great value in my mind. I'll be buying one in the same color combo yellow/black in the next day or two. This color is hard to come by but I have located one so looking forward to getting it. It's been 15 yrs since I last bought a new vehicle so it's exciting.

Have this same vehicle in 'Mars Orange', and love it. It is much better than the Kona with regard to interior space, especially cargo space, which is why I didn't even look at the Kona. I traded a Soul for this one because of the added cargo room. I think the Seltos is the best vehicle in this class if cargo space is one of your top priorities. And I've been getting around 36 mpg in mixed driving (I always leave the ISG feature on), and that's hard to beat as well.

Great review. Thanks for mentioning things that other reviewers sometimes neglect such as the start/stop button and the multiport injected engine. Most hyundai/kias have a gdi so the one reason why I would go for this one is the port injection. I don't know how feasible this is but it would be cool to see a competition car for the cargo space. So instead of a full review on both cars, just keep the review as is and park something like a rav4 next to this and have the hatch open to see the size comparison. Stay safe, keep the lower trim reviews coming.

Test drove the Seltos and Soul today! Love the Seltos and all the cargo space. I do like the Starlight yellow though.
