Where did you order the heat exchange im currently needing to do the same

It would have been nice to see if the main wiring bundle needs to be removed. And does the heat exchanger come out the front of the unit or out of the top of the unit?

Nice when it's on the ground and you don't have to lug everything up to the roof!

Wonderful job on that. Those are never an easy job but that’s literally perfection. But my god why not just sell them a new one? The unit is literally 15 years old at least (seeing it’s an early 2000’s model). The job costs over half as much as the part. I’m a technician from Chattanooga Tennessee. Throw a 10 year warranty on a new one and call it a day. Finance the $4500 unit if needed. No more trouble. Yes the new ones are just as good. Stop listening to the old timers who say the older the better.. buddy with the efficient these days there’s no comparison lol

Trane told my mom $1, 006 warranty 2819 no warranty I want to do it myself
