This emotional ballad backing track might be inspired by some early metallica songs like fade to black.. maybe some nothing else matters :) Well anyway, it is interesting and joyful to play along with it smoothly and emotionally like all your favorite guitar heros. For me guys like Joe Satriani, Andy Timmons, Gary Moore, Jeff Beck, Neal Schon are my idols and they always take me to places I have never been to while listening to their intense and emotional soloing to such backing chords or Jam tracks.

Check scale charts and easy tips included in the video to start improvisation easily and progress quickly along with this jam track. Main scale used in this backing track is E Minor. So tune up and rock on 🎸🍺

dude the cords are em - am - b - g.
For the em chord, pluck the low e string, the g string and High e string while placing your finger on the third fret. Play this twice.

Then for the am chord, hold the forth fret on the d string and play the a, d and g string.

For the b chord, just put your finger in the second fret of the a string and play the same pattern.

For the g chord, hold the thrid fret on the low e string and pluck the e String, b string and the High e string while holding the third fret.

Hope this helps!

Listen to the dynamics and energy of the song, so you dont bore your listeners with the same level of energy all the time.. Really changed my playing at that moment, thanks for the tip.

Really helpful for anyone trying to learn how to improvise and aids in ear training as well. Thanks for these backing tracks/scale diagram combinations.

Sounds like Uncle Tony’s 1961 Chrysler on a cold morning, and that’s a compliment !😃

Im working on my first improv to this. Funny, but the cover picture reminds me so much of a photo i took from Mt Terrick Terrick, back of Bendigo back home. Had to be there at 4:30am, and it was almost a 3hr drive, only just made it to the top and set up to get sunrise over the plains. I think of this when playing, it does help. This is an awesome track to learn to, thanks mate!

Diggin the tracks bro...wearing my fingers raw, It's been a long time since I could afford to play 2-3 hours each day and you have been a major part in helping me enjoy it. I am starting to record my first album in 15 years and you have been a great help in me getting ready so I feel confident and creative...blessings and thanks from Holland...Michigan!

Omg! This is crazy. I came up with a very similar lick back in the mid to early 90’s. This has blown my mind how similar it sounds.

Awesome, I love this blues track. You go to another world when you jam on this track. My Ideal place Is: California's sunset, my Fender Stratocaster, and this track. Such an artist, I'll always jam on this track. Thank you for this track 🔝🔝
