Biden assures he’s talking to DeSantis as Milton nears

President Biden told reporters he's communicating with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, as the state braces for Hurricane Milton. This comes amid a growing feud between DeSantis and Vice President Kamala Harris over hurricane relief.

It's truly sad that the citizens that are going to be affected by Hurricane Milton have to fill out forms for aide!!! How can we as a nation provide unlimited resources to Israel, Ukraine, and parts of Africa. We didn't learn our lesson when Katrina hit New Orleans and other states affected. We talk about FEMA, where are they in helping with the current situation. One comment was made that they have to wait until it passes. Home owners insurance, here again we have houses already destroyed but won't help until the Hurricane passes.
We have our Vice President just throwing out things on taxes, calling Trump a liar and bickering w/him. Get of you ass and do something now! I hear nothing about staging trucks full of supplies needed for the before and definitely the after. How are they resourcing this???! O'h, we have to wait to see the destruction? Really! We've been through so many of these natural disasters and still haven't learned.
We're still recovering from Helene! How many people are still waiting for basic needs, electricity, sewage, gas, not to mention parts of Florida have no gas! There should be gas trucks rolling in filling the cars w/out gas on the highway.
Trucks loads of generators, chain saws, axes, to include trucks ready at the go to help in the clean up.
Then the rebuild, waiting on government funds to help the people.
We are one nation but when a disaster hits, we are divided.
Let's take care of our own before we help other countries. All you billionaires & millionaires, time to help the people who need it. You became rich because of the people, PERIOD!!!
