I felt like another observation is that Mike's deck is packed with removal where as the other decks were not and that's why he won. It felt really brutal and I actually cringed everytime i'd watch him just casually blow up something of Dan's whilst also advancing his position. I feel like there was a significant power imbalance here.

Really bad threat assessment here. Animar is a huge threat, however Mike was the only one interacting with him. Once Mike started throwing down stuff like Jitte, Sword of Feast and Famine, and Dark Confidant, all three players really should've just went gung-ho against him. I have no idea why Dan was focusing Animar down as Animar, again, was really focusing on everyone else but him.

Hell, Thrasios and Tynma is probably the biggest threat as they're some of the best commanders ever printed and Ive never seen a constructed list with him that wasn't at least trying to be a cEDH deck.

Heck, would've diverted my attention the minute I saw the Lotus Petal. No one plays that card in commander unless they're up to either recurring it (not common) or just exploding quicker to combo out/lock everyone else down.

Talking about bringing a gun to a knife fight. If one deck is worth as much as all the other decks combined something is fishy.

Mike was in control of this game from start to finish, mostly because you let him draw so many cards with Tymna.

There are certain decks that, sorry to say, should immediately and consistently be targeted first, by all players, to make sure they don't get out of hand. Thrasios/Tynma is one of them, even if they're not going all cEDH. The card advantage and four colors is just too much to handle if you let them get going, so...don't.

Feel like the lack of early attacks from Animar and that counterspell on Soul of the Harvest sealed the game for Tymna and Thrasios. Never hate anyone out of the game, but you can't let a control player go untouched and draw cards every turn without repercussion.

Can someone please tell Dan to activate phenax ability at instant Speed.

Really great game to watch. Mike’s deck is very cool and would love to see more of it. One of my favorites on the channel so far

I still don’t get how nobody has noticed that the goblin from your intro plays with marked cards

@2:22 how does Bob cost only one mana? I see the springleaf but no second mana?

Maybe it’s because I run my own hate bears deck in the form of Gaddock Teeg, but I really like the look of Mikes deck. Certainly gives me ideas if I wanna add more colours to it!

Wow Mike's deck has some crazy synergy and consistency, it's scary! Sad to see the Animar deck got set back, but I was actually expecting that Morph creature to be a Stratus Dancer. Oh well. Keep it coming, Muddstah!

I just started working on Tymna and Thrasios, and watching Mike play his deck was great to get an idea of what it can do. It was disgusting and I loved it.

I used to run Mono green Azusa at my LGS but seeing as my only way to play around board wipes was heroric intervention and wrap in vigor (doesn't even work against wrath and damnation). I started playing simic pir and toothy. Board wipes like this game happened all the time and it's why I main 10 counter spells in my animar and 9 in my Pir/toothy. Toothy dieing just nets me card advantage so I generally win after a wipe much to the salt of the one who wipes

I think having such a big gap in power makes the games not really entertaining. I love your usual games by the way!

I am pretty sure that mike played his dark confidant for one black mana. He tapped springleaf to tap Tymna for black but didn't tap any other source.
