The Gimbal Laser Turret - Space Engineers

In this Space Engineers mod showcase we have the Gimbal Laser Turret. A unique take on a laser defense system with pretty particle effects. the workshop mod currently is WIP and come in 3 different parts - normal, flush and angled. these turrets are balanced for survival unlike most weapon mods which are usually overpowered and take a while to deal damage.

"The current damage system is heat based, a block will have to sustain continuous beam for some time before it takes damage. It also seems to have a minimum time to destroy missiles which does not stack. We're working on it, would like this to be very efficient against missiles. The stock 500kW is less powerful than a gatling turret so this should balance in with stock weapons."
