DL1000 Vstrom Motorcycle TPS adjust

On second gen SV650/1000s you could do this with a paperclip, did it on mine years ago. I wonder if you could access the dealer service settings like this on these DLs? Same engine (basically).

Yes. It also had a miss at around 2800 rpm. Just a slight sputter, never went away. Had the miss/sputter for the 3 years I ran it. Other than that, it was a beast, and very dependable. Have me 50, 000 kms

Hi, I know this thread is a few years old but my “new” 2011 Vstrom I bought 2 months ago has a small misfire when hot at 2600/2670 rpm which drives me nuts. The town speed limit is 50kph and in 3rd gears that’s 2600rpm and at 70kph in 4th is also 2600rom . Ohh these speeds are very common limits in built up areas so is does it selling dealer (Honda) can’t find the fault as he says he can’t experience it and the bike runs happens every single time I ride but have to hold the throttle 100% still at these speeds then it does it with out like my TPS needs to be properly adjusted after watching ur video and seeing some many other people with same issues!

Did you had to adjust it due to the engine shut down at a low RPMs when it's hot?
