"I think that there's a lot of people more concerned about being precisely, factually, and semantically correct than about being morally right."

If you really have to have far-left views, then you also have to understand far-right views as well but in Ms. Cortez's case, it is plain and simple narcissism!.

She's a moderate. The democratic party is too conservative.

Absolutely, too far left. She doesn't recognize it because of her age.

Lol 😂 she’s considered a social democrat in Europe (which is center Left politics) 😂 America is so far to the right that they think that a person who wants every person to have healthcare is radical. Good luck with that 😝

God I hope she’s pushes the Democrats toward the left. The Democrats are a nicer version of the Republicans.

I began paying health insurance claims in 1965. That's over 53 years ago. I was working for the 3rd largest insurance company and we had contracts of all sizes. The finances became very clear very quickly. By the time the "baby boomers" reached senior or retirement status, their employers would nolonger be capable of funding their healthcare benefits. They would have to be cut back on or more efficient healthcare delivery systems would have to be utilized. Now, at that time, Congress was guaranteed good health care. Veterans who had been injured during a declared war had access to service from the Veterans Administration. The auto companies had excellent policies. There were only two HMO's of any significance: Kiezer and Mayo. The majority of Americans who did have insurance had poor to mediocre quality insurance. Most plans at that time did not include prescription coverage. I spent my personal career in assuring the quality of medical care being provided and helping to increase the availability of managed care. Now, everyone wants to attack the Canadian system. Everyone seems to have heard of some unidentified case in the past when the Canadian's didn't get service in a timely manner. However, no one ever brings up the fact that single payer systems are currently working well in most of the rest of the civilized world. Yes, the citizens of those countries are aware that they are paying up front through taxes for the right to a healthier society. But they have left Americans behind with our outhouses. We no longer drive buggies around our cities. We have been using cars for 70-100 years. If we need a few young women in the House of Representatives to shake people up, good for them. It's well past time for America to join the rest of the world in assuring her citizens quality healthcare.

To the left, to the left.

Thank you AOC!

Some of her replies, if written out, would make no semantic or even grammatic sense.

AOC is the gift that keeps on giving for the Trump agenda!

Too far to the left? lmao in Europe the policies she's pushing would be considered centrist and status quo.

By the standards of most European countries, she's not even far left, or a radical. It's just that the US is so far to the right and so hyper-capitalistic that she looks like a radical in comparison. Even the US democratic party would probably be considered centrist or right-leaning in some European countries.

Is it possible to be so far left you've fallen off the scale? Yes this is proof.

The answer:

Yes

Plus, it was already trending that way before she stumbled on the scene.
