ESO Storage/Inventory Management Tips & Tricks

Managing your inventory and storage in ESO is arguably one of the most difficult aspects of the game. Ok, I jest, but in some cases, it is genuinely (and surprisingly) challenging to be able to store all of your desired items in ESO - especially if you happen to be a housing enjoyer, or someone like me, that enjoys hanging onto motifs and style pages and luxury furnishings to resell once their prices have skyrocketed. Fortunately, solutions like the item set collections (or as the cool kids call it: "the stickerbook") have helped alleviate some of the strain on our storage that old sets previously applied.

Despite this, you may find that hanging onto absolutely everything that you'd like can still be a bit of a challenge - especially if you do not have an ESO plus subscription. This video aims to highlight some unconventional storage alternatives - with a bonus little trick at the end concerning the crown store and limited edition items!

The next two videos that I’m working on are taking a while to write up and film, so instead of leaving you guys empty-handed this week, I thought I’d at least create something to tide you over until then! If you’re like me, and you like hanging onto items in ESO to resell when their value increases, then you likely know how difficult it is to store everything! And if hanging onto certain items to flip for profit sometime down the road is not something that you do, perhaps you may want to consider it! Either way, I hope that this video can give you some pointers

Another tip for getting yourself a guild bank is to create 9 accounts during a "Free Play" event, its a time consuming task but you are guaranteed to never lose guild members and you can create more than one guild if you want even more storage.

Thanks for the video Art! Managing my 18 Char ESO plus inventory is incredibly time consuming, and through advice or having learnt the hard way myself, I use as many of the tips outlined by Artea already. I am a chronic hoarder of anything I have made legendary, I just can't bare the thought of having used 8 legendary mats, to get a low return on decon. So I have used up most of my chars bag space. The add on, Inventory Insight is one of the best QoL addons I have had the pleasure of using. As the saying goes, One Inventory to rule them all! Cheers! Chilly.

Great tips. Its so funny because Ive been playing for 5 years and only recently realized that every house had its own furnishing storage. I used to lug all of my extra furnishings around with me for years lmao

I wish the sticker book would allow you to place items in it. That way when you can save the ones in the right traits for later or if you have a set golded out you are not currently using you can find it easily later or pull it out on an alt to try it out for a build.

Regarding the storage in the mailbox, I don't have said trusted friend (my friends would troll me and keep the shit), so I put items in a guild trader then immediately take them off which places them in your mailbox as well. There is only a 1% tax to do that, but if you want to get risky and put your item up for cheap knowing you will pull it off immediately, it's fine

Great tips! Somehow I never thought of just having a house to store my unused furnishings in, will definitely have to start doing that. Also I honestly don't remember what it was like playing before ESO plus, there's no way I could do without my craft bag nowadays. Way back when there were less mats to worry about it was doable but yeesh...serious props to people who play without it now.
