It is easy to do impossible things when you love what you do... this young performer leaves his heart in the stage... the orchestra is awesome... by far one of the best performances I have ever heard... greetings from Mexico.

What an elegant, expressive, cleanly articulated performance of this fine concerto! It is my first acquaintance with 'cellist Philippe; he is quite impressive.

Philippe's tone is really special. He makes many notes sound like natural harmonics, because they are so clean, in tune and with little vibrato. Perfect for this concerto!

Whenever feeling uneasy, I listen to this. Cheers to the Haydn and everyone else involved in this wonderful performance. The world is going crazy these days and the music like this keeps us sane..

I really love this concerto and Maestro Eschenbach conducting with joy.
Mr. Phillipe, the orchestra and Maestro,
they all look like dancing to this delightful concerto.

Hey, to whoever sees this. I don’t know who I might be but if you see this, that means you probably need to hear this right now. Can’t sleep? It’s okay, I promise. I know things might be hard and whoever you are stressing over or whatever situation your going through, it’s OKAY to feel what your feeling. It doesn’t mean you should just give into the stress. It just means to take a step back, relax and breathe know that you are perfect and that you can do this. Whatever you’re feeling whether it’s anger, sadness, emptiness, guilt.. it’s all just temporarily. Give yourself serenity. Let yourself be at peace don’t doubt yourself because I promise you ARE perfect and that this won’t last forever. So do yourself a favor and just lay back and listen to this. Breathe and find the peace in life and relaxation and just get some good rest and save up the energy for tomorrow.. your amazing, you are perfect.. sweet dreams❤

If I've never said it, that was the most incredible Haydn-esque 1st mov't cadenza I've ever heard for this concerto! Awesome, Bruno!!

Phillippe plays with such tender feeling that males me dream in Heaven clouds. Really beautiful performance. Besides all Haydn classisism so so pure. Orchestra great as usual and Maestro Eschenbach outstanding!!

This is the first time I've smiled watching a classical music performance. Everytime he closes his eyes, rocks his head or plays a part really quickly, (or all three at once) there's a way he shows so much passion. Its really refreshing to watch it, thoroughly enjoyed this ❤

Thank you to Maestro Eschenbach, the Radio Frankfurt Symphony Orchestra, the enchanted audience, and to Bruno, who must be a Messenger from the gods..
