True story. I was walking through Pittsburgh airport...saw him wearing the same thing getting off of a flight.

The leggings were called out because they flew standby as family of United Airlines. They weren't paying customers. And there are specific outlines you must meet in wardrobe if you fly this way because you're representing the company.
Paying customers have a different, more loose, set of standards. This isn't some sexist thing, the men also have a strict dress code when flying under the company and not buying a ticket.
And those guidelines are laid out and stressed repeatedly in emails as the day of the flight approaches. (In case it isn't obvious, I was married to a United employee once and flew under the program.)

This isn't a case of some out of control corporation abusing it's rules. This family knew the rules (believe me, they bombard you with repeated emails warning you about the dress code for weeks before you fly) and disregarded them, then acted shocked when the rules were enforced.
This is not some feminist crusade. This case is spoiled brats who think rules don't apply to them. They are free to purchase a ticket and wear those leggings if they don't like the standards.
But naturally they didn't do that. Instead they rely on how many people won't understand the facts, will hear a bare minimum overall subject matter and jump to conclusions and demonize a company when they didn't actually do anything wrong.
The pathetic thing being how well it works on people.

I don't like her, she called forbiding leggins sexist and Simmons's outfit disgusting, that's hypocrisy at it's finest. Anyway, like someone commented already, those girls were not paying for the flight as a family of employee and in those cases strict dress code is required
