It's sad that the more I learn about my osteoarthritis from reputable sources like y'all the more I learn that there isn't really much I can do about it -- which is frustrating because I'm only in my mid-50's and come from a long-lived family. The knee I damaged back in college can be replaced one day, but it seems that there really is nothing to do about my hands over the long term.
