Based on your Product Review i purchased this unit. I absolutely love it! The only thing that bothered me was the sound was fairly quiet then I did the unthinkable, I read the instructions! If you go to the Program Button hit it 5 times there it shows you that you can increase the volume! A lot louder than I need! So it does have plenty of volume. This is the kind of instrument that draws you to it. It is a lot of fun just to sit and play the night away.

I have this keyboard and its great. I also teach keyboard, and have used many models in schools. This is the best for the price point by a mile, and the extra keys are very useful to cover the vast majority of beginner piano pieces.

Your videos are gold for low budget beginners, they can get amazing quality for less than $200.

One of the reasons I really like about your channel is you talk about more affordable keyboards. I have the sx700 but can’t afford to keep buying at that price point. It sounds like the ew310 would make a great addition to my set.

I think what it boils down to is if you want to play a piano or a synth. In my mind, they are two different instruments. I bought a Roland FP-8 about 35 years ago and it continues to be perfect for me because I am a pianist. If you plan to learn classical music or a broad repertoire of music, you have to have piano key action and you have to have 88 keys. If you plan to write music or work more from a computer, then a synth is perfect. Also, if you are a top-tier keyboardist, then synth keys will not be a hindrance. A few years after I got the FP-8, I bought a Roland Sound Canvas which MIDI‘s from my FP-8 and takes care of my auxiliary sound needs.

As someone who grew up with the much older E323, this video blows my mind considering how the E-series is getting advanced over time, following Moore's Law of computer improvement vs time. Imagine decades from now, the future E-series may outpower today's S-series.

I actually saw this one at a Guitar Center one day, and I was so impressed with the horror-like organ font that it was on. I so plan on getting this someday.

I bought a Korg digital grand piano on Halloween 1998, which served my purposes for a long time -- as a matter of fact, it finally died 24 years later. RIP Korg CONCERT X3000if -- you will be missed!
In its place I just got an Arturia Keylab88 Essential MIDI controller, which cost 1/10th of the cost of the Korg digital grand. The verdict: I absolutely LOVE IT! It works extremely well with all of my VST instruments, and has quite a bit of tools that function alongside my DAW (my personal choice: Cubase 11 Pro).
The Yamaha depicted above looks like it would be a perfect fit with Cubase, considering that Yamaha owns Steinberg (manufacturer of Cubase). However, I'm happy with my choice too!
