I went to school with Collin in high school, even back then he was telling everyone how terrible Kate is as a mother. My mom was also in a diner when the kids were younger and with Kate, my mom saw first hand how awful she is to her kids and she was extremely rude/dismissive towards the staff.

Honestly, my opinion before was always "I don't know the details and families are complicated" but after his mom didn't show up to court for him, to fight for him and help that she said he needed, I kinda just stop believing everything she says.

There is ZERO reason a woman with that much money and resources to justify sending her son away. She could afford live-in respite care worst case scenario. Also, Collin should have gone to live with his father if he was truly a "danger" to the other kids. Yet out of pure spite and vileness, she didn't even TELL Jon where Collin was. This woman is absolutely evil. Hopefully, the other six kids will find the strength to walk away from her and tell the truth some day.

Look I don't doubt what Kate is saying about how difficult it was at home. HOWEVER, she should take responsibility for her sons needs not being met in that environment. She should take ownership and say I failed somewhere because I couldn't help him. Super sad, generational trauma is not good.
