After all, the weirdest it can get is, being allergic to allergy medication.

I was quite surprised that people comment negatively ever about this channel. So much research is clearly done and lots of effort is put into staying relevant and not biased when delivering the information. Just wanted to say people should be thankful that this level of quality is available for free. Also, I always have found the narration to be compelling in terms of calm delivery and tone. Stay awesome!!

Remember that for every negative comment you get there was probably 100s of us who watched, enjoyed and simply didn't comment. The mean ones are always the loudest. All the best!

I really liked the way this explanation was: showing the "bad guy" inside of your body is in fact the good guy

As a person who suffers from allergies from sources such as seasonal, pets, dust and mold, I appreciate a video that delves deep into this topic. It's good to know that researchers are working on this. Glad to get here via Tom Scott

I don't think mice get anywhere near enough credit for what we put them through...

I had a scratch test done when I was 5 back in the '60's and was allergic to over 200 things. Through my teen years, my sinuses would close completely during certain times of the year with no meds available. Then in adulthood, the allergies lessened to just a mild annoyance. Now past 60 they have come back with a vengeance but at least we have meds for it because without the meds the allergies are overwhelming. I enjoyed the video.

This and Real Engineering's content is always amazing and insightful. There are only a few channels that captivate me this much. Props to you and Brian!

Good job bringing this topic to light. I've read enough BS on Facebook regarding allergies & the crazier treatments prescribed there. This video needs to go viral for everyone to get the basics.
Also, amazing revision on how it's the histamines that get released post-allergies. The animation really cemented it for me.

I'm a biologist with a phd and your films are hands down the best documentary series on the internet! Mind blown with every episode - this is some hardcore stuff! Keep it going please 😁

I learned so much in a very short amount of time. I probably wont be able to remember details like specific names of the parasites or the cells, but I will now forever know how allergies work. Thank you.

As a biology student, i really appreciate the work and time you put in these videos. They are amazing and i always learn something new or get more info about something i heard in class. Watching educational videos helps me remember information better than reading blocks of text. Thank you!!

This was another great video. You are seriously the best YouTuber in my opinion. When one your videos comes out, I know I'm about to get an in depth look at an interesting topic. Keep up the great work.

Why are people who deny evolution commenting on science videos? They shouldn't be using the internet in the first place. If you deny evolution, and deny science, you shouldn't get to benefit from it. Ignore the negativity, and please keep up the great content!

hay fever takes all the joy out of summer for me, the times i spend as a kid chilling outside on the lawn or at bbq with my family is just not fun anymore, its a real bummer, but it makes me enjoy the winter all the more, so thats nice atleast ^^

You are one of the few on YouTube who still teaches me things I didn't already know :) Thank you so much!
I've been on antihistamines for the last sixteen years - no idea what I'm allergic to, but its literally everywhere it seems xD ... So I'm especially happy you decided to shine your light onto this particular topic.
