Even the New Arcturus NY lite series with the micro switch trigger and mosfet is love and at a great price for what you get out the box Arcturus is a force to be reckoned with. Thanks for all the great content your appreciated!

my First airsoft was from the KWA Radian model 1! got it on airsoftgi few weeks ago!

I decided to get the A&K ACR (AEG, Full RIS, ~16in barrel) as my first (and currently only) rifle
i have to say, its great, its pretty heavy (pro for me, but might be a con to others) full metal upper with polymer lower, all the goodies
shoots ~350fps with .25g BBs reliably
has good range and accuracy, if your eyes are good enough and/or depending on the arena you play at, you can just go iron sights only
also fully ambidextrous
the only problems i have with it are:

1: that specific model uses a different handguard than the normal ACR, so the battery it says to buy doesn't quite fit properly (bought on Evike) but that's fixed with some tape, and might get fixed with a Li-Po (but keep in mind its a Tamiya connection)
2: doesn't have that high of a fire rate, but that's barely an issue because I almost only use semi
3: sometimes my shots seem to be a bit off, but honestly I'm not super good, and I'm relatively new to airsoft, so it might just be a skill issue on my part

(Evike problem) the listing says it doesn't come with a grip yet mine came with a decent vertical grip
it could use some upgrades, but its not a requirement, its fully capable without
and it is on the more pricey side of starting rifles (I didn't want to deal with cheap things not being reliable)
if you don't mind a decently heavy rifle then I totally recommend this
(also if you find a way to solve the battery problem please let me know, thanks in advance)

your perception of airsoft aks having better accuracy, might come from the v3 gearbox + hop unit simply being designed better. If its not cause of the often longer innerbarrel, i feel the same with my G36

As a person who owns a CA X98, I ripped my motor out and replaced it with a 40k boost. Mostly cause I fried the motor. Don't know how, but yeah it's good.
