Chapter 1: Introduction to Performance Testing

This first chapter introduces performance testing at a high level, as well as describing what automation options are available, along with a bit of information about the Free Edition of eggPlant Performance.

The second chapter talks about the System-Under-Test (SUT) that will be target of the testing that will be conducted throughout the tutorial series. If you are already familiar with performance testing and know what system you want to test, you may want to skip ahead to chapter 3.
