CFS volunteer killed after battling bushfire in South Australia

A CFS volunteer has been killed and another is seriously injured after battling an out-of-control bushfire in South Australia.

The incident occurred when a tree fell on their truck while they worked to contain the blaze that's been burning near Lucindale, in the state's south east.

And these hero’s are not even funded by our governments. They raise funds for their own equipment and trucks and our horrible government does nothing to support them. I am so sad for this loss of hero’s lives.

Volunteering SA-NT peak organization in Adelaide is partly responsible for this... Volunteers are supposed to get training on the same level as CFS employees. Instead they are Unpaid and exploited because State government does not want to employ fully trained staff.
