I got a question fam, you know when creating a new drum program on the legacy MPC (5000) there's a screen where you can layer up to 4 sample / level, tune, range. My question is what is range, and can you explain it to me. Searched the manual and it only explain level and tune.

Black is preferred. My gear isn’t a place for me to make a statement. What I do on it is what matters. The best reason to get a gold or grey edition is to get rid of the lower durability black soft touch coating. They should make the black Live like the black MPC One which doesn’t have the time bomb soft touch.
