Bikepacking Dunes at 4000m (13,000 ft) in the Puna de Atacama - Adventure Motivator (4K Raw Run)

Descending down from a 4,000m peak I rode through an area covered with these dunes. The Sand was soft and I had my tubeless tires almost fully deflated to keep from sinking in. As long as I kept my speed up I was able to float across the surface. Riding down was one of those magical experiences that makes the days of hike-a-bike and slow slog worth it. Hopefully this acts as a motivator to get out there and make an adventure of your own!
