I saw this movie 2 years ago. Though I can't rewatch this movie at this time, I did read a lot of the comments. My mind is blown and I am saddened by the comments. I am actually shocked as I read the very insensitive and harsh comments.😟 😟 Indeed, the movie caused me great anger and a range of emotions as I hurt so deeply for Ronnie. However, I am glad that I watched it. What I strongly believe is that, there are other stories like this that are not being told. This story needed to be told; this needed to be exposed. It is my hope that it gets more views and that viewers will tell a family member and a friend to watch it. I know for certain that it will help someone. We never know what others are dealing with. Many times we see huge smiles, laughter, strength, intelligence, etc. We see so much in a person, but we can't read their thoughts, we can't see past the beautiful smiles, the laughter: we only see the surface.

I returned to delete my original comment bc I recognized that my comment was actually no better than the comments that angered me. I was filled with anger as I typed my comment earlier today. 🥺

I ask that you please keep in mind that someone who is going through this might pull from this movie so much strength to talk to someone. But, then, they might read the comments and might immediately bring up the thoughts of unworthiness, fear, shame, and the list goes on. 🙁 They just might think "nah, I'm not telling anyone, I'm not talking bc I'm only going to be viewed and thought of just as Ronnie was." 😥

Please allow the movie to give them hope and you also, please give them hope. Please be kind. Say something kind and uplifting. Please strive to display empathy and compassion. Please. 🥺🥀

It was sickening and a hard watch. I commend the Director for addressing this disturbing issue. We hear about and see movies about fathers molesting daughters all of the time. No one ever addresses the mothers or aunties in families who have done this for decades. Have you noticed that there’s a different reaction amongst the public when we hear about a female teacher sleeping with a male student vs a male teacher sleeping with a female? Our society normalizes certain situations while frown upon when the predator is a man or make jokes when the victim is a young male. It truly needs to be discussed.

This whole movie just pisses me off. Like from the Mom to the older son to the younger son and the damn dad

•The mom is drop dead sexy as hell but sick minded.
•The dad acts like a dam diva and won’t screw his wife
•The younger son is just weird sitting there smiling
•And the older son is just as much to blame as his mom smh. Steady going back to it instead of stopping, but wanna play victim. He could’ve easily pushed her off of him the first time.

What aggravated me more than anything about this movie was her friend low-key making excuses for her. I understand she was in the middle of a mental breakdown but damn.

In a way I felt kinda bad for her only bc the same thing was done to her as a little girl and it affected her as she got older and it played a part in how she turned out. She didn't deserve what happened to her but neither did her son.

And for anybody saying he could've just pushed her off and stopped having sex with his mother, that's partly true but at the same time he was also underage and sometimes you don't know what to do when you're being taken advantage of sexually especially by somebody who was supposed to protect you.

It's easy to say what you would've and wouldn't have done until you've been in that position.

If anything he was probably in so much of a shock that he just didn't know what to do and he froze up. You can tell that he knew what she was doing to him in that moment was wrong bc he started crying as soon as she left the room after doing what she did.

This woman really let her sex addiction get the best of her to the point where she violated her own son and then kept pulling him in to have sex with her just to spite her husband bc she was mad he didn't wanna fuck her every 15 minutes.

She kept saying that any man in the world would've been lucky to have her so if you were that unsatisfied and unhappy with your husband why not just go sleep with somebody else? No it wouldn't have been right and they still would've been mad but they would've eventually got over it and it would've been better than doing what she did. All these men that were lusting after her yet she wanna sleep with her son of all people?

She ruined her marriage and destroyed her relationship with both of her sons to the point of no return all bc she wanted to be vindictive and spiteful and bc she couldn't keep her legs closed long enough and turned into a molester. She got what she deserved in the end and judging by her reaction at the end it seems like she knew for a while that they was coming after her but she just didn't expect it to be that soon. I just wish they would've gave us another aftermath scene and told us what happened after she went to prison.
