Sven, my compliments for recommending CEPU. I specifically waited until the election day in Argentina and when the stock market inevitably dipped last Monday I picked up a number of shares last Tuesday (10/28) morning. I've enjoyed a 27% return since then and looking forward to a lot more to come over the years. Definitely paid off for subscribing to your platform and then some. Keep up the research - it's greatly appreciated. -Alex

I'm invested with you Sven. I have more than doubled down on my position size in Argentina since that 55% drop. Looking forward to the more than likely rebound coming in the next 5 years :) We'll see who are the crazy fools for not investing in Argentina then :)

Enjoyed the video Sven! I hope people realize what a great learning opportunity the situation in Argentina is from an investing standpoint. The majority of people couldn't stomach a one-day 50% decline. Those people shouldn't invest in Argentina as you said.

I think you hit it on the head when you said 'you come from a Frontier Market so you're used to this'. I'm from the U.S. (California) and had an aversion to investing in foreign markets (especially emerging or frontier countries) until I started traveling internationally around the time I was 30. I've since learned many of the opportunities for massive gains are indeed outside the U.S., but with that comes higher risk. It's all about understanding what you're investing in and playing the risk side appropriately. Thanks as always for educating the masses Sven.

It's all about risk/reward. The potential upside is truly huge now. I see a great opportunity to jump in if you have cash and the stomach for volatility.

Good to keep a cool head. However, this is the classic falling knife scenario. Happened to Uranium few weeks ago too. Usually when you have a 40+% drop, people will keep selling their shares for a few days after the drop. In this cases some technicals help to get a great entry point. I was "lucky" to have closed my position when I saw this CFK possibility becoming getting real. Will go back in when the sell off is done.

Hey Sven, been watching your videos for a while and just wanted to send a world of thanks for the perspective. When the markets opened Monday, I had cash on hand to significantly average down my cost. I’m not giving up on you, Argentina!

I had my TGS go from +50% to -20% overnight but I am happy to keep it as it is. Hopefully nobody sold in panic, those titles could still 3x-10x over the next 5-10yrs. Thanks Sven

Sven makes much more sense than local investors. Regrads from Argentina (bought as much as possible last week, even bonds).

i told you like 2 months ago to short the merval, and next its the bovespa going down, along with nasdaq and sp 500... all it takes is little inflation in brazil and they increasing rates by 1% and down it goes.

my forign stocks are in japan... my problem with emerging and frontier markets is how hard it is to pick winners, lets take south africa for example, the largest company is sasol oil, if south africa rallys whos to say where sasol goes, more likely it will boom because of a new tech startup that is not on anyones radar

Well said Sven - it's all about having a strategy and sticking to it - objectivity not subjectivity.

Szia Sven,
I have followed the events and Your channel (for a longer time), and analyzed myself the situation as well. Today morning I bought 3 stocks from Argentina:
1, Grupo Financiero Galicia -> I expect a 5 times increase within 5-6 years, plus dividends
2, Cresud -> I expect a 2-3 time increase in 5-6 years plus dividends
3, Pampa Energia -> I expect a 4-5 time increase in 5-6 years
Now 20% of my portfolio is from those 3 stocks.
I did not dare buying more (plus I don't have more money :) ).
Danke für Deine Vorarbeit.
