Today, Wednesday 18th, Matteo Iachino undertook an unprecedented challenge: to windsurf from the gulf of Aranci, Sardinia (Italy), all the way to Livorno, in northern Tuscany (Italy).

With a solid forecast for southeast winds in the Tyrrhenian Sea, Matteo left early this morning from Cala Spada on his SEVERNE HyperGlide 6 8.0 and foil board.

Starting from Sardinia, proceeding alongside Corsica, and finally passing by Elba Island, Matteo reached the shores of Livorno after an astonishing 10-hour journey. The trip totaled 378,03km distance at an average speed of 38,3km/h.

A first-time incredible achievement, whose main purpose is to support the "Un Solo Mare per Tutti" project, which aims to connect kids to the ocean and raise awareness of its importance and uniqueness.

Huge congratulations Matteo for this remarkable achievement.
