Nintendo wasn't satisfied with the sales of the SNES. Now I get why. It sold 23 million units in 6 years time. It sold more units after the release of the N64 than before. In the first six years of the SNES, more units of the NES were sold... So pretty much every major console except for the NES, Wii and Switch (which can be seen as a handheld) 'failed' commercially.

It is amazing how in 4 months, the Switch sold nearly 20 other millions units, surpassing the 3DS... the GBA is next, idem the Wii, because if things keep going strong like now, it is not a matter of if, but when.
