I think you undersold the importance of finding inspiration from the mundane. We can exercise our creative muscles by looking critically at inexpensive mass-produced items and putting our own spin on it. Excellent piece Graham, very well done. And because of this video, I've now been "commanded" by the Mrs. to put one of these together 😅

Looks really nice 👍 and thousand times better than the one you brought. It's taking that design and making it better.

Nice work Graham. My wife took all my small spring clamps for her quilting and I was really wondering how you were going to clamp the holder to the base. Well done! Steve

Hi Graham, just found your channel and have subbed. I can tell just looking at this one video I’m going to enjoy your content, I’ve been a carpenter, joiner, furniture maker, veneering, turning, spraying and everything else you could do with wood for 46 years and i still love seeing other tradesmen working and thinking outside the box, lovely job.

Beautiful adaptation sir. I think the 5 degree cuts on the top really sets it off. You’ve taken it from a utility piece to an artistic piece.

Did I see a change or addition to your Kapex fence?
