Recently had a similar system installed at my grandparents house and I really liked the layout the installer used. Similar situation with the existing pipe in the corner. He mounted the filters on the run away from the existing pipe, then used the UV filter to rise the level and go back. This totally eliminated the need for any 90° in the system and made for a very compact installation. Two Ts to branch of and otherwise straight connections.

Nice install. I'd number or label those filter housings. I'm an old DIY plumber whose had Reverse Osmosis Filter Systems for almost 40 years. If you asked me which filter goes where.... I might get it right. But mostly what I've done is just replace the one that's in each housing with the one like it. So if I got them out of order once.... it'll probably be that way until I go look it up on the internet. Might be out of order for years. I like that 'spin' filter, great concept.

Good morning, a suggestion for the manufacturer is as follows, in the passage of the UV lamp the wiring runs along the water, it may be better because there is no good system in all filtration and the wiring following the internal flow, if the wiring is non-toxic disregard, an excellent development in filtration, Top.

Suggestion on teflon tape. The teflon should be tightened on the thread as you unwind it from the tape housing.

I installed almost the same system but I added an electronic water descaler. It's kind of interesting how you decided that you have a better system for fastening the crimp rings than the engineers who designed Pex. They say you should use one ring only, and place it back about an eighth of an inch from the end of the tube. And you should crimp it once only. They even provide a handy go/no-go gauge with your crimper so you can make sure the rings are secure. Your way might be almost as good.

I see in some videos, they put in a bypass pipe with tap. Also a tap both sides of the filters. Just in case there’s any issues with the filters. You can then isolate the filters from the mains and still have running water. Good video anyway 👍

I have a single filter with a carbon and sediment cartridge for drinking... municipal water system. I find the 0 ring blue vessel HATES to come off after its been in place for months. That issue is present even after pressure release. I have resorted to using piie dope on the threads. It is SOME easier this way. I like the brass cleanable pre filter... going to add that. Thanks for the demo.

Just a tip turn your teflon tape roll the other way it makes it a lot easier to control the tape.
