The TRUE Shemitah years and Jubilee Cycles

We hear a lot of speculation about shemitah years, Sabbatical cycles, and Jubilee Cycles. But with them repeatedly turning out to be bogus the question is asked, "Where are the missing Jubilee Years? Well. perhaps they are not to be found where we are looking for them. Perhaps they are hidden away in holy time, in years "determined" or "cut out of time". Like in the SEVENTY WEEKS PROPHECY, and the Jubilee of Messiah set to occur at the end of the future 70th Week, the final 7 years of this age..

69th week ended 33 AD with the anointed one (Jesus) being put to death, and having nothing, then the 70th week started 63 AD, Eleazar Ben Hananias stops the daily sacrifice 66 AD, and then the temple was destroyed 70 AD.

Gaven Finley: Some of this makes sense, but some of it doesn't. We know time began when Mankind sinned in the Garden of Eden, and that God allotted 120 Jubilee Years (6000 years) for the age of mankind. We also know God ordained the Sabbath's, Shemitah's, and Jubilee Years as a means to keep time. Why then would God stop time for 2000 years after Christ's First Advent? Also, something many seem to gloss over in scripture is when it says: "and for the overspreading of abominations He shall make it desolate" (Dan. 9:27), which has to do with the reason why the Messiah allowed His Cross, which many have changed, which has led many to believe another gospel, which is not another, and deceives many to think they are something they are not.

I posit Daniel's 70th Week refers not to the end times, as many assume, but to why the end times begin, which begins when the church collectively comes to the full to believe another gospel, having make it to be something it's not; that when it comes to the full then the end times begin, even as it did on Sept. 29, 2008 Elul 29, and then at sunset, the latter timeline (end times) began on Sept. 30th Tishri 1. Fourteen years later then the latter days began (last 7 years) at sunset of Sept. 25/26 Tishri 1, and ends at sunset of Sept. 09, 2029 Elul 29.

All of Scripture points to 2030 for Jesus Christ's return with all the holy angels and saints.

Sorry, jubilee is 7x7 + 1 == 50. This is the only Jubilee formula in the Scriptures. Accordingly, the Jubilee comes AFTER Daniel's 7 x 70 years, obviously. The 7x7 so called Jubilee count, like so many things, have been corrupted by the Talmud.

Jubilee is the celebration of FREEDOM from slavery. Daniel's last week is ALL ABOUT JUDGEMENT, YES?

By MT Chronology this statement would be untrue.

According to the MT, Eber was still alive and lived to be a good old age of 464 years, more than twice the age of Abraham.

Shem lived to be 600 years old, yet according to the MT he only dies 25 years before Abraham death. (The Jews also falsely claim that he is the high priest of Salem, Melchizedek in a vain attempt to discredit Christ claim of being a priest in the order of Melchizedek.)

Noah lived to be 950 years old, and by this Chronology would have died only two years before Abram was born.

1967 was a jubilee. 2017 was a jubilee. This means 2031 is the yr #3 of the cycle. You should not ignore the 50 yr cycle.

-I believe this was read on Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement in the shmita year, Yahshua/Jesus would then go to the cross on the 14th day of the 1st month in the year of Jubilee!

What about the physical Jubilee year in each cycle? Wouldn't that not be included in the current or next 49-year cycle? For example, 49 years, then 50th is Jubilee, so therefore: one complete cycle would be 50 years. And your 490 years turns into 500 years with the 10 extra jubilee years added on. Please let me know what you think.

What about where scripture says, my spirit will not strive with man for 120 years. We know that's 120*50(jubilees)=6000 years. That tells me God is keeping up with them, and they are discoverable. 🙏🤗

The reason fot the 70 years of exil in Babylon and gor the 490 years before probation under the old covenant would be replaced.

And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:

70 x 7 = 490 years

Every seventh year the Jews were to give the land a years sabbath (rest). They failed to obey the word of God and broke the covenant he made with their father.

The 70 years were based on Ezekiel’s example, were they not? 390 broken sabbath years for the northern tribes, 40 for Judah. That’s 430 days, a day for a year. That doesn’t equal 490 does it. It’s based on 430 divided by 7. That gives us 61.4. Now just add in the jubilee years. 430 divided by 50. 8.6. What’s 61.4 plus 8.6? 70. You can’t reach a correct answer if you’re not even using the correct figures to start with. Solomon wasn’t punished in his lifetime. He died, then the kingdoms split, and until the Jews were freed from Babylon and allowed to return home was how many years? Exactly 390. Why not 430? Because the northern and southern kingdoms were breaking the sabbath years at the same time. When did israel split? 930, meaning 929 was their first divided year and when the northern kingdoms stopped observing the sabbath of the land. It’s about the promised land and punishment for not allowing the 7th year to be a year of rest for the land, even though god promised to provide big enough harvests in the 6th year to last until year 8. He was trying to train his people and it’s sad that even today people miss this obvious lesson. Stop reading into the Bible and let it tell you what it’s really saying.

The abomination of desolation was in 691 AD when the Dome of the rock was built in the Holy place. Add 1335 years (Daniel 12:12) to that and we get 2026 as the year of the rapture (sept 11, 2026). Those who come to that year and are waiting for Jesus will be blessed, as they will be raptured and won't experience death. Jesus' ministry began in 26-27 AD. He announced the acceptable year of the Lord from Isaiah (when prisoners would be set free), that was a jubilee year. The 2nd coming must also be a jubilee year since that's the ultimate fulfillment of jubilee. Adding sets of 49 years to the start of Jesus' ministry brings us to the next jubilee year in 2036. 2036 should be the year of the 2nd coming. We know there will be 10 years between the rapture and the 2nd coming from the "10 days of awe" as the Jews call them, between the feast of trumpets and the day of atonement on the Jewish calendar. So, further proof the rapture should be in 2026 and 2nd coming in 2036.

Interesting point of view. I believe you are right about the cycles being 49 years instead of 50 and that the Weeks of Daniel are indeed about Jubilee Cycles. But from which starting point? Consider that the allotted time for man is 120 'years' (Gen 6:3) - I believe that this too is about the Jubilee Cycles. What I'm not so sure about is the gap theory you propose. Are you familiar with the teachings of sightedmoon on this subject? If not, would you be willing to look at it and test whether what Joseph Dumond is saying about it is true?
