I know the reason for the engine start button
The older cars were so quiet whilst running that sometimes you’d try to turn the car on again, whilst it was already running which would result in the awful ignition scream 😱
With the new setup you can’t make that error.
If your press it and it’s already on, no drama and you won’t be turning the engine off in error, when you thought you were starting it
if you want it off, use the keys to turn it off 🤩

Also regarding performance, as you and someone else stated, it probably needs a map. The K20s are beastly engines but they're also fickle beasts. If you add intake/exhaust flow it can hamper the engine both with and without a tune, as it needs to be optimally balanced.
I'd throw it to VRS or better yet the boys at @Dynodaze deal with these all day long so you get the most of this FN2 both performance and monetary. 👍

It's often said not to decat the FN2 without remapping the ECU to go with it. Wonder if that had some kind of affect to make this model slower. Also depends what exhaust it has too, it sounds like it has more than just a decat and may have a thinner restrictive exhaust.

That mugan is beyond special actually 220 hp with a lsd and a superb aerodynamic kit that actually gives the car added wind resistance smh many don't actually realise just how epic theses cars are forgot your euro stuff this is a REAL touring spec level machine that brings the best out of the driver the more u push the better it gets that alone should tell what this machine is about anyway great review from calvin thumbs up for sure

Either needs a remap to adjust for the mods or put back to standard. I guarantee there is a significant loss in torque due to that exhaust 🤦🏻‍♂️

I think engines like the one in this may still be a bit tight. I bet that it was parked up for months at a time and driven infrequently with mileage like that at that age and I always think engines perform better when used consistently and with a few more miles

Calv, I've got an old Civic. Just had the spark plugs replaced and the car feels so much more responsive. If they've not been changed in a while it could be worth looking into.

The temp controls on the passenger door are cos it has dual zone climate control.
Lets them configure their temperature independently from the driver's when dual zone is enabled.

All the Championship white fn2's had a limited slip diff.. There was 600 of the fn2 with white alloys triangular exhaust tips with 198bhp ( I had one for 4 years.. didn't think much of it coming from en EP3 which I had for 9 years).. There was 200 of these M200 with these silverish/black looking alloys with round exhaust tips also with 198bhp, and 20 of the M20's which was about £40, 000 when they came out.. 2156cc engine producing 237bhp NA, which was then uprated to 256bhp NA which id the daddy of them all if you can find one?? 🤔
