The Soviet Flea Market of Moscow's OTHER Kremlin... 🇷🇺

Показать описание
We went Soviet souvenir shopping at Moscow's 'other' Kremlin - the Vernisage Bazaar in Izmaylovo, Moscow, Russia.
Izmaylovo is home to Moscow's second Kremlin, the 'Izmailovo Kremlin' in north-east Moscow. It was a residence of the Tsars, but, nowadays it is a centre of Russian culture. The Kremlin is home to various Russian museums, from the museum of Vodka to the 'Arms Museum', as well as, a Flea Market outside its walls. The Flea market sells eveything from old Soviet memorabilia to Russian 'Ushanka' hats and more 🇷🇺

Hi from Canada. I found your channel by chance a few months back and have enjoyed your videos very much.
You guys have a great vibe for making videos and there so informative.
I’ve always wanted to visit Russia ( my brother has been), a question how accessible is it in the major cities for wheelchair users?
Thank you for the super content, keep making amazing videos.

My maternal and paternal grandparents were born in Russia and emigrated to the US in the late 19th and early 20th century. Your videos give a glimpse as to what Russia was/is like...thank you. OF course, I would love to visit someday.

Interesting to know that there is more than one Kremlin, I never knew that! Really interesting flea market in such a beautiful setting, snowing and amongst wonderful architecture. Nostalgic as well, especially those postcards. I am also fascinated by the cameras Matt! Being used to a much warmer climate, I may experience problems at those temperatures even getting hold of the essential "equipment" in order to empty my bladder ... 😏🙈😂Thanks for sharing this fun video! ❤

I just subscribed, Julia‘s smile is so unique, and genuine, that each time she giggles, it brings a smile to my face, I am blind not able to see, but through your eyes, I can feel that you’re loving that part of the world, I wish someday I could travel to that part of the world, because I could feel how you guys are enjoying your time. From the northern California barrier, love your videos

What a treat to see the "fantastic four" out and about on a cold Russian afternoon. 👍 I enjoyed your shots of the flea market. The Soviet postcards you got were a great find. When you "have to go, you have to go"! Did the guys "write their names" in the snow? 🤣 I dare say that's a hobby of boys worldwide in the winter. Thanks for a fun video today. Take care and have a pleasant and rewarding week. 🤗❤❄🙏🌎

What a place, it looks like a fantasy storybook location, surreal. Loved this video, I am more of a foody, but it was so interesting, Russia, has never been much addressed in videos, there are some shots that look so freaky historical, , this place really was an unusual location, and your family teamwork is, hilarious.

Back in the day when my wife lived in the old Soviet Union as an exchange student, she used to frequent the markets quite often . It was not as bountiful as it is today. It brings back old memories.
The vlog has her thinking about returning thanks to you guys😍😍. Harriet wanted to mentioned that back in the day, people were not wearing down jackets. They were not available. How times have
changed. Harriet wrote a novel (fiction) based on her experiences in the old Leningrad. The novel is called " Love in Leningrad". It's available on Amazon. Thank you Matt and Julia😍😍for all vlogs
and Thank You Julia for all those great laughs😊😊. It's a great cure for what the world is going through. Sending you lots of love💖💖 Jim and Harriet. Richmond, Va.

We're really enjoying your videos. I wonder if you might consider adding more frequent commentary on how things smell (the streets, people's homes, nature), and the feeling of the weather, (warm, cool breezes)? You describe food marvelously and this could help increase the sensory potential of the experience.

Was nice to see all of you playing in the snow. Love the flea market with the old postcards. How long do you expect to be in Moscow? And will the four of you be doing more videos in the future? Love you all ❤
