This is too true. In school we were made to remember literature textbook word by word, chapter by chapter. 20 some years later I can clearly recite many of these when I can't even remember the names of my teachers from back then.

vinh how to sustain our voice quality through out the session. when ever I start a talk i start with incredible voice but after few min my tone would go down and i tend to talk faster and i know it's because I was conscious that people are listing to me so what ever iam talking it shld be appropriate.
how to fix it? No matter how much ever confidence that i carry but still I face the same.

Reading comprehension increases when we focus more on comprehension of the text, so makes sense. It's also almost necessary to do for certain topics of study where it requires abstract thought, doing math, or imagining what we're reading.
